Another Message From Pastor

(From Wednesday) We arrived in Nairobi, picked up the girls' tickets and checked into the hotel run by the Mennonites. It is clean, safe and has hot water. We ate at a restaurant tonight and a waiter asked if I did counselling. We went out into the parking lot and I gave him the Gospel. He thanked me and gave me his email. He said he would take some time after work and ask the Lord to save him. Never had that happen to me in that way before. I am glad God is in control.

We leave at 4:45 am (local time). We will get to our destination around 5 pm and the girls will arrive around 9 pm.

(From Thursday) Waiting to check in for our flight. We said goodbye to the girls. They are on their own -- well not really, they have the best traveling partner.

*Update* We saw John Bovard in the hospital yesterday, and he is doing well. We are now on the plane waiting for departure.

  1. Pastor Dave: Reading your letters makes me wish I were 50 years younger and able to accompany you. But God has had and continues to have other plans for me.

Naomi came home from the hospitsl but had to return. You might not believe this but it's true. Her prescribed nosedrops (containing steroids) were counter-acting her medicines!
Many prayers are being said for her and appreciated.

I pray you all return safely and in good health having laid God's footprint on the hearts of all you meet.

    Love in Christ,
    Sister Jan Fedor
