Today's (Yikes!) Report From Pastor

Yesterday while we were in the bush, we killed a snake. One of the guys thought it was a boa and started to pick it up. I saw it and knew it wasn't. I stopped him before he got too close. It was a gaboon viper, and they are very deadly.

Pictures inserted from web at Pastor's request:

[The Gaboon Viper is the ultimate ambush snake. It will stay still for a long time and wait for it's prey to come into reach. An adult ranges from 4-5 feet in length. It is the world's heaviest venomous snake. It has the longest fangs and the highest venom yield of any venomous snake. It is native to Southern Africa.]

Zeke left today. We are going to miss him. It rained really hard today, so we did not go into the bush. We had church in town. Pastor Ackim preached. It was a good time of fellowship. Tomorrow is the last day in the bush.
