Slippery Rock Baptist Church: Yet Another Message From Pastor

Please pray for those people from our church who are going to Africa on a missions trip.

Group 1: Traveling from Pittsburgh to Kenya on January 27-28 and from Kenya to Zambia on February 6:

Group 2: Traveling from Pittsburgh to Johannesburg on February 5 and from Johannesburg to Zambia on February 7:

Unless otherwise noted, all men are leaving from Zambia on Friday afternoon, February 13 (flying through Johannesburg) and are arriving in Pittsburgh on Saturday morning, February 14.

Pray for safety as they travel and as they are visiting the different villages and people. Pray they will be a blessing to those they come in contact with on this trip.

*Sarah will be staying a month to work with Ms. Norma Grooten in Kenya.

Yet Another Message From Pastor

Just finished buying the food for the week. What an experience. Things like paper plates are very hard to find if at all.

Tomorrow we head out we head out in the bus. We will have church, then lunch, then out to see the chief, then back to church. There is no electric or running water, but there are people and lots of them.

We are on the way to a small airport to pick up the rest of the guys [Group 2]. Then we will all be here (in Kitwe, Zambia with George and Ackim).

There are several preaching opportunities tomorrow. Please pray.
